"Pay vs. Productivity in NFL" by Dr. Peter von Allmen

Dr. Peter von Allmen is a Professor of Economics and Business at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. Education: B.A., College of Wooster; Ph.D., Temple University Interests: Dr. von Allmen teaches courses in microeconomic theory, labor economics, industrial organization, the economics of sports, and the economics of health and health care. He has published in the areas of family labor supply, compensation schemes in professional sports, and post-secondary pedagogy. He is the co-author of the textbook “The Ecomonics of Sports.” A second text is forthcoming. In addition, he has served as a consultant in the pharmaceutical industry.
