The Eighth Annual Morningside College Palmer Student Research Symposium scheduled for April 18th, 2012, is a campus-wide celebration of student involvement in research. Students can present research, both empirical and non-empirical, completed in a class or completed as an independent project under faculty supervision. Students can request an oral presentation, a poster demonstration, or a panel discussion. Oral and poster presentations will be judged in similar categories. Students have the option of submitting fall and/or spring projects during the open submission period. This campus wide event that will kick-off at 7:45 a.m. in the Yockey Room with a Keynote Address, following lunch, in the UPS Auditorium. The keynote address is open to all. All classes will be canceled so faculty and students can participate in this event. Presentations will be held in classrooms throughout campus.
