Morningside College offersa Master of Arts in Teaching degree in both general education and special education as well as graduate endorsements in Reading, Talented and Gifted, English as a Second Language, Middle School, and Special Education.
The graduate program
was established in 1967. Morningside and Iowa's Area Education
Agencies (AEA) have been working together to provide graduate
programming for Iowa educators for more than 12 years. More than 500 Iowa
teachers are enrolled in the graduate program.
All course sequences leading to teaching endorsements are approved by the Iowa Department of Education.
