Mary (Cruikshank) Grefe
recently retired after serving 12 years on the Morningside College Board of Directors.

Bruce Norris lives in Council Bluffs, Iowa, with his wife, Dione. He taught in the public schools and at the junior college level for 38 years. He has been doing volunteer work at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs for the past 16 years.

has been retired since 2000. However, he is works part time for the city of Blue Springs, Mo., volunteers at Union Station and is a Stephen Minister for his church.

1960
John Gilbert and his wife, Carlene, enjoy traveling, spending time with family, bicycling, and fishing. They joined the Morningside College choir, political science students, faculty, administration and other alumni on the choir's tour of China that took place in May. They had a great time visiting all of the sites, enjoying the concerts and interacting with all of the attendees.

1961 & 1962
Earl Parsons retired in 2001, after more than 35 years in the health care industry - nursing homes, specifically. He was involved in building, owning and operating buildings in Iowa, Nebraska, Arizona and California. Being father to three wonderful girls and grandfather to identical twin girls, all living in the Denver area, has led to a lot of traveling, parsons says, "If I knew grandfathering was going to be this cool, I would have skipped parenting and gone right to grandparenting!"

Don Hill is assistant headmaster for External Affairs at Mercersburg

Danger retired in 2001 after a 34-year career teaching
English and working as a media specialist. She hopes to hear
from classmates from both the classes of 1967 and 1968, because
she started at Morningside with the class of 1968 and graduated early in 1967.

Donna (Tack) Ricks lives in Hudson, Iowa, with her husband Al Ricks 1973. Donna retired in June from her position teaching English and speech at Dike-New Hartford High School.

Kris (Toyne) O'Clair has a doctorate in education leadership and policy studies from the University of Denver.
She is the mathematics intervention coordinator with Teaching and Learning in the Denver Public Schools. She and her husband, Tim 1972, have a daughter, Shelby 2000, and a son, Ryan. Shelby and her husband, James Snyder, are parents of James Lloyd Scott, born June 23, 2008. Shelby is the theatre teacher at George Washington High School, James is the administrative education liaison at Tennyson Center for Children, both located in Denver, Colorado. Ryan lives in Portland, Ore..

is currently serving as the director of choral activities at Westwood Community School in Sloan, Iowa. His program includes the 130-voice high school mixed chorus, two award-winning show choirs and several other outstanding performing ensembles. Jennifer (Rice)
LeMar and her husband, Joel, are the parents of three children, Elizabeth, Sam and Ben. Previously she worked in the information technology industry in Des Moines, Iowa, and Dallas, Texas. Now she stays home with the kids and dabbles in a second career as a "digital artist" at www.scrapartist.com. She had two pieces of her artwork, "Destination Unknown" and "Joseph Gatzemeyer Home," published in teh premiere issue of Somerset Digital Studio, a publication of Stampington & Company. "Destination Unknown" was on the cover.

Michael and
Tasha (Segebart) Eldridge live in Red Oak, Iowa. Michael is the eighth- through 12th-grade vocal music instructor for the Red Oak Community School District. Tasha is a kindergarten through sixth-grade music instructor for the Farragut and Sidney public schools. Tasha earned a master's degree in education and curriculum in May 2007 from Montana State University, and Mike is pursuing a master's degree in administration through Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

Erin Mulvany received a master's degree in theatre, with an emphasis in directing, from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in May of 2007. She is currently on staff for the Two Chairs Theatre Company in Grand Junction, Colo. She also works full time for St. Mary's Hosptial, also in Grand Junction.
