The Collegian Reporter

The Collegian Reporter

The Collegian Reporter recently observed 100 years as Morningside's student-run newspaper. Students from all campus majors and disciplines fill decision-making roles as reporters, editors, photographers and advertising representatives. Those interested in the business side of newspapers can work in advertising sales and underwriting.

Opportunities in graphic design and photography are also available for those who want to express themselves more artistically.

During the 2001-2002 academic year CR staffers kept tabs on the College's plans for a new residence hall, the ongoing development of a new core curriculum and a campus visit by economic journalist Jane Bryant Quinn.

In 2002-2003 the CR plans to continue its tradition of campus coverage, reporting on the progress of the college's five-year plan for campus revitalization, the Waitt Lecture Series speaker for 2002, and the Mustangs' first full year competing against NAIA opponents.
